The morning sun warmed Elias's face as he hummed, sipping his coffee on the porch swing. He'd decided to start his day slowly, letting the birdsong and the gentle rocking lull him. A metallic clang from the street jolted him. He blinked, peering past the rose bushes. His brow furrowed slightly. The tow truck was backing away from his driveway. His car? Impossible.
